Celebrate your roots this Tartan Day
National Tartan Day is this Sunday April 6th - come celebrate a Scottish tradition with us in downtown Fergus! Be transported back to Scotland with a full day of activities and listen to some live Celtic-style music. Get your feet a movin' with a History Walk - learn the history behind how Fergus is the town it is today.
Want something for the kiddos? Head behind the library for McKiddies games and demonstrations. Visit the Play with Clay tent for activities and enjoy watching the Blue Bonnet Lassies perform traditional dance.

For the past 149 years, Santa Claus has hosted the gathering at the North Pole and each year, he has won the coveted Holiday Guardian of the Year Award. But not this year!! This year the Bunny Family is bringing the festivities to Easter Island in a bid to change their luck. Consider this your invitation to attend this year''s convention. Meet all your favourite holiday mascots and see if Santa’s streak will finally be stopped or if he will make it 150 straight wins...you'll have to make the trip to Easter Island to find out!
